Gucci Mane Preps ‘Ice Daddy’ Album Produced By Son, Celebrates Pooh Shiesty Success

Gucci Mane is getting ready to drop his new album, Ice Daddy, produced by his 4-month old son.

The Atlanta rapper says his 17th studio album, Ice Daddy, will arrive on June 18 just in time for Father’s Day Weekend, and he listed his 4-month-old son as executive producer. We’ve seen DJ Khaled done that for his past few releases. Ice Davis is Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir’s first child together. Both of them have children from previous relationships.

It’s been a good year for Gucci Mane, and the rapper is celebrating all his wins. The rapper has taken a step back from the spotlight to promote young talent through his label, and his efforts are starting to pay off. Pooh Shiesty and Big Scarr, two of the hottest members of his musical outfit, have been making waves on the musical scene, and Gucci is beyond grateful.

As he vacationed over the weekend with his wife and business partner Keyshia Ka’Oir, Gucci mulled over his successes. In a video on his Instagram, Keyshia asked how the rapper was doing, to which he replied, “I’m doing great. I’m actually doing excellent.”

The rapper went on to say, “I got a lot to celebrate. My lil boy just turned four months. My artiste Pooh Shiesty is through the roof. My secret weapon Big Scarr is opening they eyes, don’t sleep on him. All is well. Pockets on swole.”

Gucci and Ka’Oir welcomed their son Ice Davis last December. Ice is the couple’s first child together, though they both have other children from previous relationships.

His artiste Pooh Shiesty has been having major success this year, being named Hip Hop rookie of the month by Billboard in February. He was also named as one of Billboard’s Artists to watch in 2021. The upcoming rapper also scored two singles on the Billboard Hot 109 with the songs “Back in Blood” and “Should’ve Ducked”.

Big Scarr sold 22,000 copies of his mixtape “Big Grim Reaper” in the first week of its release, a major achievement for his label. Pooh Shiesty’s “Shiesty Season” mixtape has also been making waves, with his songs doing major numbers on YouTube.

It seems it’s only up from here for Gucci and the people around him.

Kodak Black Deletes Instagram After Calling Out Coach Dancing To NBA YoungBoy

Kodak Black deletes his Instagram account after calling out a basketball coach going viral for his dance to NBA YoungBoy.

Kodak Black may be a changed man since gaining his freedom from prison, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to sit back when he feels that he’s been insulted. He was only released in January, and even when he was in jail, he was getting under people’s skin. For example, he and T.I. had a public spat after the Atlanta rapper called him out for his comments about then newly widowed Lauren London. He went on to apologize for that one. Another feud that seems to have been brewing for a while is now taking center stage, and that’s with NBA Youngboy.

About a year ago, the two went at it via social media. As far back as 2017, the two traded insults following Kodak’s track “Time Never Mattered,” which most fans felt was aimed at YoungBoy. Then in 2019, rumors began to circulate that NBA YoungBoy also dated Kodaks ex-girlfriend Dej. Last year their issues were once again highlighted after Yaya Mayweather, NBA YoungBoys ex-girlfriend, stabbed YoungBoy’s other pregnant girlfriend.

Fast forward to 2021, and Yak is once again going after YoungBoy, this time claiming that the Baton Rouge rapper is one of the many young rappers that he believes are not giving him his proper dues for inspiring them.

Kodak took offense after DJ Akademiks shared a video of a basketball coach dancing in the locker room. The dance was to NBA Youngboy’s “Right Foot Creep,” which was apparently a hit in the locker room as everyone enthusiastically encouraged the couch.

Akademiks posted the video and wrote, “#kodakblack points out the coach doing his dance. Y’all think the coach know kodak as Project Baby or Bill Kapri the suburban kid.” Kodak reacted and posted, “But They Doing My Dance Tho,” alongside a laughing emoji.

While his beef with NBA Youngboy is long-standing, he has been taking shots at young and upcoming artists who he believes have not put enough respect on his name. Earlier this month, he went after Megan Thee Stallion, who he earnestly believes stole his style with her ‘drive the boat’ slogan. He also went after Pooh Shiesty, who he said did the money spread without giving him the proper credit for inventing the gesture.

Pooh Shiesty Bought His Mother A House After Laying Brother To Rest

Losing a loved one is always a difficult and dark period in a person’s life. That’s been the story for the family of rapper Pooh Shiesty since the death of his brother Tarrance Henderson last month. Pooh Shiesty recognizing the troubled time that his family is facing, has tried to put a smile on his mother’s face by buying her a brand new house.

Pooh Shiesty’s brother, also known as TeeDa P, died on February 28. According to reports, he had been battling brain cancer. He was laid to rest at Brown Missionary Baptist Church in Southaven. TeeDa P was also an upcoming rapper who had been raising eyebrows after he released a series of singles in 2019. Just before his death, he released an album named “Halftime.”

As the family comes to terms with his death, Pooh Shiesty decided to find a way to cheer up his mother. He posted her reaction to receiving the new home on Instagram. He posted a video clip in which he tagged his late brother. “@tee_da_p i did it @gladysbaines love you 5L.”

In the video, his tearful mother, Gladys Baines, can be heard expressing her shock at the gesture. “I can’t believe you just did this. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it,” she said as she embraced her son in joy.

Following the passing of TeeDa P, Drake took the time out to give some encouragement to Pooh Shiesty. In a now widely circulated voice note, he said, “I just want to send you my condolences, man. You know? And just let you know that, like, the cycle of life is unfair… It just hits us so hard. Money can’t change that, you know? Something I just went through too with one of my friends.”

He added: “Just know that’s something everybody got to witness and I’m sure they’re all just proud of you, the most love for you in their hearts and that’s something I want you to know. In tough times like this, realize what you’ve been able to accomplish in this short time and what you have in front of you. I’m wishing you strength in these times, man.”

Pooh Shiesty And Kodak Black Beefing Over Who Started “Blrrd”

Pooh Shiesty and Kodak Black are going at it all over who started the “blrrd” trend.

Both Pooh Shiesty and Kodak Black are in heavy rotation on hip hop airwaves right now. The Memphis rapper is making waves with his breakout hit “Back In Blood” with Lil Durk, while the Pompano Beach native is creating his own waves musically, but also for other things like getting out of prison early thanks to a Trump last-minute pardon and his recent engagement to Mellow Racks whom he has been dating only for a few days or weeks at most.

While Shiesty and Kodak are making a lot of noise on the airwaves right now, their heated feud started after the Sniper Gang rapper hopped on Instagram to tell the world that he started the “blrrd” trend as well as the infamous cash spread. It didn’t take long for the “Back In Blood” rapper to respond on IG, telling Kodak that he lost respect for him.

“This just a matter of fact ! I ain’t dissing nobody , ion even know y’aII I’m just saying and this not to say the respect level ain’t on either side , but you know,” Kodak wrote in a post on IG that he has since deleted. In the video shared, he explained how he started the money spread trend and even namedrop Lil Baby.

Pooh Shiesty later issued a strong response to Kodak Black on Instagram by sharing photos of himself from a decade ago spreading cash. “The INTERNET AND FANS will make a real ni**a do some h** sh**, Influence?” he wrote. “You wasn’t rappin when I was out here taking action I just like yo music thought u was on my same time boy u was rapping that sh** I was really living before I ever made a song, this internet don’t know sh** bout me.”

Shiesty added that Chief Keef would be more deserving of the credit for starting the trend than Kodak Black. He ended his statement with a strong messaging tell Black that they can handle this feud in person.

What Blrrd mean?

In case you don’t know the meaning of “blrrd,” it’s an adlib popularized by Pooh Shiesty in some of his recent songs, particularly his hit single, “Back In Blood.” Other Memphis rappers also use it, but this issue is about who created it.

Before they started beefing, Pooh Shiesty says he is a fan of Kodak Black and even ranked him among his top 5 rappers, dead or alive. “‘m gon’ put me on there, BIG30, Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, and Chief Keef. I dont even care about nobody else. Them five right there,” he told Hotnewhiphop.

Why did Kodak Black pick a fight with Pooh Shiesty? Perhaps because of his recent issues with Gucci Mane asking him about the clone rumors. The Florida rapper wasn’t too happy about it, and we all know Gucci is mentoring Shiesty, who is signed to his 1017 label.

Yaya Mayweather Went Viral Again For Reaction To “Back In Blood” Playing In The Club

Yaya Mayweather doesn’t like Pooh Shiesty’s ft Lil Durk’s “Back in Blood,” and a recent outing saw her not reacting to the song being played at all. The young mother and her entire crew were out at the club but were silent when the song came on.

The song has been a popular favorite as it played at dozens of events during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Atlanta. Yaya Mayweather was spotted at the club where another one of NBA Youngboy’s exes- Jania Meshell. The two were spotted in sections that were next to each other.

Yaya went viral weeks ago after she showed her disdain for the song during a live session on Instagram. When the song came on, she immediately blurted out, “turn this weak-ass song off,” as she whined for the song to be removed immediately. The video of her was shared multiple times as fans joked and made fun of her reaction. In spite of her dislike, the song is now trending as a current hit which means that people are also making TikTok videos of it.

A video of her appears to show her taking a phone call as the song comes on, and her entire crew appears unimpressed by the song but yet, others around them bopped to the hit single as they loudly shouted out the lyrics, including Jania, who appears to be dancing on a table.

Many are of the view that Yaya’s opposition of the song stems from her connection to NBA Youngboy, who is connected to Quando Rondo, who was involved in a shooting last year in which King Von died. She appears to be proving her loyalty to Youngboy, who has eight children, of which seven are biologically his. In spite of Yaya’s best efforts, NBA Youngboy continues to sow his seeds as he recently had two new babies, which includes Yaya and Dream Symone’s children being born months apart and the rapper appearing to continue his relationship with Symone.

Pooh Shiesty Says His Dream Collab Is With Cardi B

Pooh Shiesty wants to get in the studio with Cardi B.

Pooh Shiesty’s “Back In Blood” might have unintentionally held Cardi B’s “UP” from securing the top spot on iTunes, but that doesn’t mean there is any form of negativity between the two. Shiesty has even revealed that he would not mind hitting it off musically, with the female hitmaker. Not too long after signing a deal with Gucci Mane’s label, Shiesty released his debut project titled Shiesty Season. The mixtape hit the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums at number 2 and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. This was amazing news for the Memphis-born talent, especially when compared to the legal issues the rapper has faced as a result of a recent shooting incident in Florida.

The rapper stopped by Gillie Da King’s Million Dollaz Worth Of Game, to discuss his career when he explained just what he wants to do next.

“I want a Cardi B feature, bad, really,” the rapper told Gillie and his co-host Wallo. “Cardi B need to — we need to do that.”

— Slime Lil Dude (@pooh_shiesty) February 22, 2021

Both hosts threw their support behind Shiesty by publicly calling on the “WAP” rapper and her husband Offset to give him the hookup.

“Cardi B! You already know who got next,” Gillie said. “Cardi B and a muthaf***ing Pooh Shiesty record would go stupid.”

A clip from the show was shared online which Shiesty retweeted while tagging Cardi. He also included a goat emoji just to show what level he believes the Invasion Of Privacy rapper is on.

Are you ready for a Pooh Shiesty Cardi B collab? One person who would give such a record a hard pass is Yaya Mayweather, the most recent baby mama of NBA Youngboy. A video of the boxer’s daughter calling for Shiesty’s track to be turned off has been making the rounds on social media. Her exact reason for hating the track was not shared, but many persons believe that it has a lot to do with a strained relationship between Shiesty and YoungBoy.
