Lil Reese Says He Is Not Blind Amid New Graphic Video Shows Aftermath Shooting

Lil Reese issued a statement dismissing rumors that he is blind in one eye after getting shot.

Reports of a shooting in a Chicago parking lot on Sunday morning stated that rapper Lil Reese and two other men had been shot in an apparent dispute.  According to the Chicago Tribune, Reese suffered an eye injury but was later announced to be in stable condition.

However, a 27-year-old man also present at the scene was shot multiple times and rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.  Police reportedly discovered a stolen Dodge Durango at the scene and have now revealed that Reese and his affiliates were in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

Little is known about the exact sequence of events at this time, but it appears that a 55-year-old man tracked down his son’s stolen car Sunday morning only to find Lil Reese and his friends inside.  The man may have attempted to perform a citizen’s arrest, but the confrontation eventually resulted in gunfire from both sides.  A graphic video taken shortly after the shootout is now circulating online.

In the footage, Lil Reese is scene laying on his side and losing consciousness as a great deal of blood leaks from his head.  A police officer is talking to Reese, likely trying to keep him alert, as he calls on his radio for backup and medical help.  The woman filming seems somehow involved in the situation and continues to yell at Reese and his friend along with the Durango owner who is yelling off screen.

Had we not known that Reese is now is stable condition, the video would be even more disturbing. Thankfully, the rapper is reportedly on the mend from injuries that appeared dire. Nobody has been charged in the shooting at this time, but Chicago police say that they are still investigating the incident.

A day after the shooting, reports surfaced online claiming that he is blind in one eye after gunshot crazed him during the shooting. Reese is now calling those reports false.

“I’m good I’m not blind or shit don’t believe what you seeing on internet I don’t even kno where tf they getting all these fake ass stories from,” he said in a statement posted on SnapChat.

Lil Reese survived a near fatal shooting in November of 2019 as well, and fans are surely hoping for another full recovery.

600Breezy Warns Tekashi 6ix9ine, “I’m Not Meek”

600 Breezy warns Tekashi 6ix9ine that he is not Meek Mill.

Tekashi69 has new music to promote, so if you see him getting into it with other rappers on social media, rest assured that it’s likely a PR move to promote his new song, “ZAZA.” While he might be doing the most right now to drum up some publicity, there is a good chance that he might be putting himself in danger because at least one of his rivals, 600Breezy, is making it clear that he is in no way joking around.

The Chicago rapper is sounding the alarm after Tekashi 6ix9ine disrespected Lil Durk’s late cousin on Instagram on Friday. 6ix9ine also took a jab at Durk in his new song. Perhaps Durkio is smart to ignore him but seems other Chicago natives can’t help but respond. 600 Breezy left a comment on 69’s IG Live over the weekend writing, “I’m going to jail when I see you I’m not meek.” He later added in another comment that all his opps are dead.

In his taunting of Lil Durk, 69 wrote, “Nuski and Von died for this?” Nuski is Durk’s cousin who was shot and killed. And we all know the tragic story of King Von’s death in Atlanta last year. Durk and Von were really close, so it must be painful for him to see 69 dragging his friend’s name in the mud like this on social media.

600Breezy isn’t the only Chicago native going after 69 on social media. Lil Reese also chimed in on Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Instagram Live, where the two of them traded verbal jabs at each other.

Tekashi 6ix9ine also earned some attention for including footage of his confrontation with Meek Mill last week in his “ZAZA” music video. The couple seconds footage showed 69 and Meek yelling at each other, all while their respective security teams separated them. The Philly rapper later tweeted that he opted not to get into a physical confrontation and accused the rainbow-haired rapper of ambushing him in the parking lot.

600Breezy and Lil Reese are no strangers to controversies themselves. Just last week, some allegations surfaced that 600 had offered to help Meek hurt Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty.

Rapper Fredo Santana Dead At 27 From Kidney Failure

Hip-Hop is mourning the death of rapper Fredo Santana who passed away this morning from kidney and liver failure.

Santana, whose real name is Derrick Coleman, was age 27 at the time of his death. The full details surrounding his death is not yet available to the public, but his close friend Maxo Kream confirmed his passing on Instagram just moments ago. “Damn man I’m lost for words right now I’m cryin my ass off Fredo I love yu B**ch RIP a real Savage,” Kream wrote.

Since then a number of his rap peers including Drake, Lil Pump, ASAP Twelvy, among others have posted their condolences on social media. “Rest In Peace Santana, Drizzy wrote while Twelvy added, “Forever honorable we gonna miss you Fredo. His large fan base have also been sharing their responses on Twitter with most folks in a state of disbelief over his death.

Fredo Santana is a product of the vibrant Chicago rap scene. He has worked with the likes of Drake, Lil Reese, Chief Keef, and Kendrick Lamar. One of his most recent songs is “Been Savage” released in the fall of last year and has been doing good. Fredo posted a photo of himself in the hospital in October last year after suffering kidney and liver failure. Seems he never recovered from his health problems. Last year September, he publicly ridiculed fellow rapper Russ speaking out against the rampant drug use in hip hop. “Until I can stop thinking bout my dead homies an the trauma that I been thru in my life that’s when I’ll stop,” he tweeted.

[Hook: Lil Durk & Lil Reese]
Young nigga ruthless
Nigga wanna tweak I pull up with my shooters
Like a point guard, shooting guard
Caught his ass he so goofy
Why everybody wanna be shooters, these niggas be trickin’
Why you niggas not listening these niggas shootin’ from a distance
Fuck nigga they gon’ make me keep my distance (distance)
That sneak dissin’ gon’ make me keep my distance (distance)
That fake shit gon’ make me keep my distance (distance)
That fuck shit gon’ make me keep my pistol

[Verse 1: Lil Durk]
Keep my pistol, speak on the dead and my niggas gon’ get you
6 shots in the nickel, got my stripe like a ref without a whistle
And I love my vultures do what they say them boys is just talkin’
Reese money hawkin’, ain’t no nigga in the city that’ll try to stop him
Headshot made his whole brain scuplture
100 pounds let the whole hood older
Knew some older niggas pension turned some young niggas cobras
Chase his ass face his ass, no he ain’t get no pass
Erase his ass lace his ass, he know his ass is grass
100 thousand in the stash box he ever need me then he asked out
Found the plug and I cashed out
My baby momma made me lash out
Free my young nigga (?)
Smoke a bag up with Reese
With the muthafuckin’ groupies know my life is movie

[Verse 2: Lil Reese}
These niggas ain’t shooters, a lot of these niggas they snitchin’ they goofies
These niggas ain’t stupid, talkin’ like he about it but I know he ain’t ruthless
And you don’t want to get into it, ’cause niggas around me they’ll toy with you too
And you don’t wanna really do it, talkin’ like you got it you can do it too
And let’s get straight to it, flame with the backwood wood after wood
I know me and Durk good, now you go get out the hood not to be in the hood
And we can go back to it, but a lot of niggas can’t go back to it
I’m just sayin’ I’m good, I’m just sayin’ we good
So much shit I can say but it can be locked today
After doin’ bad I pray, I gotta thank The Lord everyday
‘Cause you know where I come from it ain’t safe
Pull up, hit ’em with the K
Pull off, DOA

[Hook: Lil Durk & Lil Reese]
Young nigga ruthless
Nigga wanna tweak I pull up with my shooters
