Maky Lavender – Complikated Lyrics (feat. NMK & Ben Ivories)

My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a…
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of …

My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
(Run da tunes NMK)

If I told you half the stories of shit I have to live
The speech I have to do and the shit I have to say
I live some of life with some joy and some pain
Im enjoying your vibe and your ass in sundress
Whatever you like I go buy no stress
We never end the night with a fight or some stress
I neva dun trip by the shit they say
Can neva buy me no my soul not to take
My fist up in the air and im thinking about my heros
Kobe’s now gone now im thinking about my little
Mike Jack swag got me singing in falsetto
Chadwick Boseman dressed up like a hero
Black Panther dressed up like Huey Newton

Im a king , I never been a nigga
Im a king , I never been a nigga
Im a king , I never been a nigga
Neva dun trip by the shit they say
Can’t buy me my soul not to take
Neva dun trip by the shit they say
Can’t buy me my soul not to take
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that
My life is complicated, a little bit of this and a little bit of that

Think of you like all day
You were in my face like always
I don’t say that to complain
You were the best kind of pain
I don’t know where I go now
If I did I wouldn’t know how
Might still feel the same things
I don’t say that to complain
Think of you like all day
You were in my face like always
I don’t say that to complain
You were the best kind of pain
I don’t know where I go now
If I did I wouldn’t know how
Might still feel the same things
I don’t say that to complain

Marc Almond – Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Lyrics

I saw you standing next to a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
Looking so cool in a slim black t-shirt and jeans
A poet must have named a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
Such a cool name, but I don’t know what it means

I’d love to test your boundaries too
I’m curious to see just what you’d do
‘Cos I’ve never been in love with a narcissistic sociopath like you

So lie across the bonnet of a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
A cool Black Panther sleeping in the mid-day shade
A portrait of black and red, pale skin as if you were dead
You welded together with a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Cool as a car with a beautiful name
You and the car were one and the same

You told me you were cold with a black heart and no feelings
You said you couldn’t love, had no empathy for me at all
A closed book, I didn’t know much of your feelings
But you looked like the devil, icy eyes and willowy tall
Your reflection in the shiny car showed me who you really are
A mirror held to your soul, a chrome beauty to behold

So lie across the bonnet of a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
A cool Black Panther sleeping in the mid-day shade
A portrait of black and red, pale skin as if you were dead
Welded together with a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Cool as a car with a beautiful name
You and the car were one and the same

So lie across the bonnet of a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
A cool Black Panther sleeping in the mid-day shade
A portrait of black and red, pale skin as if you were dead
You welded together with a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Cool as a car with a beautiful name
You and the car were one and the same

DJ Shadow – Horror Show lyrics

(feat. Danny Brown)

[Verse 1]
I’m Einstein
Off two lines and moonshine
Too lit, hit two bitches at noontime
Spiritless like prostitutes that steal shit
Limitless when them chemicals mixed
Mentally unfit
I’m physically on tilt
Eyes puffy chasing grants like Horace
Put the D on, no Warwick
Arms I will bear for the porridge
Porshe out the storage
Cayenne truck, watch me floor it
Eating calamari with the swordfish
Penthouse enormous
Doing blow in silk garments
Smoking so much
You would think I had a farm of it
Writing like Shakespeare on the top tier
10 in life bid with his shank near
To be or not to be thats what the question is
A brackhead blacked out off the medicine
Evident I’m heaven sent but hell bent
Two licks, her pussy wetter than whale piss
All getting money know you tell bitch
With a bag of drugs looking like trail mix
On the road to riches got it all mapped out
Doing all these drugs ’til a nigga black out

[Chorus]
Welcome to my horror show
Horrible how I will do all off you
Try the undeniable sire of diabolical
What, welcome to my horror show
What
Welcome to my horror show
Horrible how I will do all off you
Try the undeniable sire of diabolical
What, welcome to my horror show
What, welcome to my horror show

[Verse 2]
They think drugs gon’ . kill me
But these off these drugs on kill you
Snorting on some igloo
Smoking on some mildew
Writing that apocalypse
Stronger than Black Panther fist
No philanthropist
For the scandalous
Drink a can of piss
My manuscript
Can turn an evangelist to satanist
I’m faded with this
Struggle with one another
For faith in it
Devilish acts
Praying I get away with it
Sitting waiting patient
Taking everything that’s sacred
Even your imagination
Can’t think when you’re in hell
‘Bout to lose everything
Like Jack and Jill’s pail
Got a nigga’s brain captured
Like SeaWorld whales
I’m a nigga from the hood
I can see the world well
That’s why I get fucked up
‘Cause I can’t lift up the veil
Can’t look in a mirror
‘Cause I hate myself

[Chorus]
Welcome to my horror show
Horrible how I will do all off you
Try the undeniable sire of diabolical
What, welcome to my horror show
What
Welcome to my horror show
Horrible how I will do all off you
Try the undeniable sire of diabolical
What, welcome to my horror show
What, welcome to my horror show

‘Black Panther’ Broke the 2018 U.K. Box Office Record

Black Panther is predicted to have the most successful February opening ever with a projected $165 million in North America. But it won’t only be making history there. The Guardian reports that Black Panther made £2.67 million (about $3.74 million) in the UK on its opening day on Feb 13, marking it as the highest-grossing single day film at the UK box office this year. (And that’s without the President’s Day boost that the United States’ market is getting.) This knocks two of Marvel’s films, Thor: Ragnarok and Doctor Strange, out of their spots. In addition to besting the UK box office, Marvel’s latest also outsold all of their other films in advanced ticket sales within 24 hours on Fandango.

Even Black Panther: The Album, a soundtrack for the film curated by Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, is making major movements as it’s slated to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s 200 list with over 100,000 units earned since its release on Feb. 9. The album’s track “Pray For Me” with Lamar and The Weeknd also nabbed the No. 7 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd Collaborating On ‘Black Panther’ Album

Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd are joining forces for the upcoming Black Panther: The Album.

The TDE rapper and Tog Dawg are executive producing the project and now we are learning that The Weeknd will be making some contributions. The movie itself is gearing up to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest premiere this year with pre-sale tickets already sold out. Kendrick Lamar is hoping that the hype around the moving will fuel interest in the soundtrack and already it’s showing signs that it will.

There are a few singles off the project that has already been released including a cut that will be featured on Jay Rock’s upcoming album. Complex reported that Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd are putting together a collaboration for the soundtrack. There is no word yet on when the single or the album will arrive but definitely look out for it sooner than later.

K-Dot and The Weeknd have previously collaborated on the Canadian singer’s last album Starboy on the single “Sidewalks.” That track was a huge hit among fans of two of the biggest music stars in the world. The R&B singer posted a Black Panther artwork on his Instagram earlier this week, a clear sign that he has something coming on the project.

Aside from curating the Black Panther soundtrack, Kendrick is getting ready to go on tour with his labelmate SZA. Top Dawg Entertainment recently announced the “Top Dawg Entertainment Championship Tour” with the rapper and the singer as co-headliners. Lance Skiiwalker, Isaiah Rashad, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, SiR, and Ab-Soul are also on the lineup. The label will be announcing the tour dates soon but it’s looking like another blockbuster affair for K-Dot and the TDE camp who have been having an impressive run over the past few years.

Bit by bit more details are coming out about the album like the guest list and track titles. His announcement got fans all excited for the pending music and not to mention the movie presale tickets are already breaking records. If things continue like that, Black Panther will be one of the biggest movies of all time and surely one of the biggest this year.

Kendrick Lamar and Isaiah Rashad new song will be featured on the final album according to TDE rep MackWop. The single in question was recorded from last year summer for Rashad’s album, but then change of plans and it ended up being on the upcoming Black Panther soundtrack. From all accounts, it sounds like the single is straight fire and is shaping up to be one of the most anticipating tracks on the album. “Ended up being the black panther shindig,” MackWop wrote.

It’s being a while since we’ve heard from Isaiah Rashad since he has been quiet over the past year with the exception of “The Race” remix delivered in the summer of last year. He has been widely regarded as one of the most talented artists out of Top Dawg Entertainment so it’s exciting to hear some new music from him.

Kendrick Lamar Recording New Music For “Black Panther” Soundtrack

Kendrick Lamar preps some new music for the “Black Panther” soundtrack and it sounds fire.

After dropping the video for his single “LOVE” featuring Zacari, K-Dot hinted that he has some new music coming out. The Compton rapper has one of the best, if not the best hip hop album of the year, and he is already working on some new music for the new year. One of the projects that he is reportedly working on is the soundtrack for the upcoming Marvel movie Black Panther.

In the middle of the music video “LOVE” a banner quickly appeared then disappeared that reads “B. Panther. Soundtrack. Coming Soon.” The movie is set for release on February 16 which means that we can expect some new music from Kendrick Lamar sometime within the next month. You will likely have to rewatch the video more than twice to catch the hidden message, but eventually you will see it. This shouldn’t at all come as a surprise since Marvel used Kendrick’s classic single “DNA.” in the trailer for the movie that they previewed recently at Comic-Con H in San Diego.

2017 has been a big year for Kendrick Lamar and next year is shaping up to be an even bigger year starting with the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony where he received seven nominations from his album DAMN. including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for “HUMBLE.”

[Verse]
Whippin’ excursion
Oh shit, I’ve gotta pick up that person
In the trap house, whipping that work and
You’re not a gangster, you’re just an internet version
Whippin’ that wurzel
You know me, I’ve got the littlest circle
Mrs in the crib, you know I’m keeping that fertile
We don’t take pictures, you know I’m keeping that personal
White so clean, you know I’m flipping that Persil
Soon be the million dollar man, like I’m living with Virgil
Real shit, seen a little rehearsal
Big gun like Rick, it’s like I’m living with Hershel
Gangster, gangster
I’m with Lisa and Jackie, grab Samantha
Little bit of Drake and brang that Sampha
I’m the darkest, rap Black Panther
Man don’t powder, and I doubt man pamper
Man are real badman, unnu dat man stand for
I’m in an HSB, I went and bucked one banker
A lot of man play Ken, but man ah badman Blanka
Grab it and swerve it, turn it, grab it and burn it
Banging that Kermit, you gotta grab it and firm it
Banging that German whip, slanging that Sherman
If man has to burn then fuck it, I’m grabbing that burner
I just linked up with Buck and I’m with Alex in Berlin
Gravity surfing, cavities hurting
Man of no mercy, man have been murking
Man are just actors, man are rehearsing
And man was all talking
Now man are reverting
And now man are converting

Game & Marsha Ambrosius – Sins Of Our Fathers (The Birth Of A Nation The Inspired By Album) letras

[Hook: Marsha Ambrosius]
Sins of our fathers
Father, forgive me
And after all I gave you stole my name
And took away from me
Our founding fathers
What have you gave to me?
I’ve been the victim of a broken home
You stole away from me
Sins of our fathers
Sins of our fathers

[Verse 1: The Game]
I could hit you with the “Yes master”, pastor
Or I could close the box on your ass like cold pizza
Whips and chains, brain gone, mind in shackles
Cam Newton, a Black Panther hard to tackle
Mix the moonshine with the Snapple
The White House a plantation
But they’re teachin’ our kids it’s a castle
Built by slaves, my guilt by trade, the maze
Lab rats pickin’ cotton inside invisible cages
House nigga, he hate us more than the massa
Burn his own church and smile in the face of the pastor
The last days, drinkin’ our own sweat in the field
Either kneel or you get your ass killed
[Hook: Marsha Ambrosius]
Sins of our fathers
Father, forgive me
And after all I gave you stole my name
And took away from me
Our founding fathers
What have you gave to me?
I’ve been the victim of a broken home
You stole away from me
Sins of our fathers
Sins of our fathers

[Verse 2: The Game]
They gave my great-great grandfather lashes ’cause he stole a fuckin’ horse
Now 500 horsepower in my mothafuckin’ Porsche
As I light my torch on this Mississippi porch
Let the Mississippi River shatter windows on my [?]
Corpses is, of course this is, genocide
I’m in the same church where little kids and women died
I can hear the voices, ropes around throats
Separated our families when they stacked us on them boats
Choke, as your legs shake you start to lose hope
Wishin’ the branch would break, but nope
Soon as your neck snap, they start laughin’ and takin’ pictures
‘Cause to them you ain’t nothin’ but a mothafuckin’ nigga
500 years later, I’m in the club
Chain on my neck, Harriet Tubman on the dub
Ben Franklin on the hundred, Hamilton on the ten
Even in death, she still surrounded by white men

[Hook: Marsha Ambrosius]
Sins of our fathers
Father, forgive me
And after all I gave you stole my name
And took away from me
Our founding fathers
What have you gave to me?
I’ve been the victim of a broken home
You stole away from me
Sins of our fathers
Sins of our fathers
Sins of our fathers
