Seinfeld Soundtrack Gets Release

The Seinfeld (Original Television Soundtrack) has been released, featuring tracks like “Cable Guy vs. Kramer” and “Jerry Vs. Newman Chase” named for the memorable episodes from the hit show.

Show composer Jonathan Wolff carefully selected music that hasn’t been available for public consumption until now.

Fans of the show will recognize the tracks which are named after some of the popular scenes and episodes that they were featured in including “Cable Guy vs. Kramer,” “Jerry Vs. Newman Chase.” etc.

“Often, soundtrack albums include brilliant masterpieces of musical artistry and compelling, momentous film score suites,” Wolff said. “Yeah, there’ll be none of that. This music was created to peg the funny meters. Each track evokes a favorite scene. My opus magnum is a ‘Big Daddy Pimpwalk.’  Seinfeld fans only, please.”

Husks Release ‘There Is a Garden Where You May Rest’

Husks has dropped a dreamy new EP There Is a Garden Where You May Rest, which captures the imagination through a variety of sounds and effects.

The new EP is the first of three record releases by Husks, the brainchild of Brooklyn singer, producer, and composer Connor Small.  His work is influenced by his religious upbringing, exploring themes of purity, anxiety, tension and isolation in the face of cosmic uncertainty.

Penelope Antena Covers John Martyn’s ‘Back To Stay’

Penelope Antena has delivered a beautiful cover of John Martyn’s 1967 single “Back to Stay,” in homage to the singer-songwriter from yesteryear.

Back to Stay is a song I felt inspired to cover because John Martyn is a hero of mine,” Antena said. “It’s a compelling story, and dear to my heart, as I’ve been listening to it with my parents since I was a little girl. The accompanying music video is something very personal to me, sharing home footage of my family’s summer vacation.

Dutchman Release Rocker ‘Run Run Run’

Dutchman have arrived, and this four piece band is on the “Run Run Run” with their new single.

Fresh off the band’s debut offering, Dutchman Vol. 1 — a follow-up to the group’s breakthrough EP, A Broken Man’s Life and precursor to Dutchman Vol. 2 — the song harnesses the sonic talents of the band’s initial lineup: Jake Dutcher (vox/rhythm guitar), and Connor Johnson (vox/lead guitar), alongside Garrett Gravatt (lead/rhythm guitar) and Franco Solorzano (keys/bass), who were added shortly after first forming in 2017.

Along with the full-length comes the group’s leading single, “Run Run Run” — an alternative-rock soundscape with ambling guitars, and catchy, ear-worm melodies.

Dutchman plucks apart a variety of generations of rock and roll music, and blends them into a sound uniquely their own. From staging pulsating riffs with tightly woven harmonies, “Run Run Run” executes a good time vibe, amped up to eleven.

I See Hawks in L.A. Drop ‘Mississippi Gas Station Blues’

I See Hawks in L.A. has released the track “Mississippi Gas Station Blues” and its accompanying video. The song will be included on the band’s new album, On Our Way, set for release on August 27.

“’Mississippi Gas Station Blues’ was a creation of the cracked mindset and isolated recordings of the Covid Era. In a modern way, via a mono iPhone track of drums and guitar jam which was overdubbed with vocals, bass, and  some wild keyboards from Danny McGough.

Lead singer Rob Waller’s family has deep roots in Mississippi, and William Faulkner looms large in the psyche of songwriters Waller and Paul Lacques, and in the song.

Leontas Return with ‘Against The Wall’

British rock-duo Leontas return with utopian video “Against The Wall,” from their forthcoming EP.

This time around, the UK rock duo found inspiration in the human’s eternal need for freedom and exploration. “Against The Wall,” which is the lead single from their upcoming EP, explores the thirst for adventure, travel and self-discovery.

“Anything from politics, to social status and life choices can hold us back however we are firm believers that it’s never too late to give space to what your heart desires,” said Alex and Scott.

Apart from the huge sound already associated with the band, this time around they explore visual aspects to their creation. The three colours depicted on the cover of ‘Against The Wall’ symbolise the desert, the journey and the utopian sunset that we all dream of, and the cinematic freedom and energy is encapsulated within the new music video, out now.

[Verse 1]
I’ve been spending some time, thinking I’ll be alright
Don’t know if I could really make it tonight.
Lie awake in the dark, come down then I start.
Thinking about you is almost breaking my heart.

I don’t know where I went wrong, or what’s going on.
Baby, I feel like our love’s lost tonight.
Should I stay, should I go?
Well, I really don’t know.
Lately I’ve been missing you so.

[Pre-Chorus]
Baby, you don’t understand our love lies lost,
But you’re still holding my hand.
Oh, and then you walk away.
Just tonight, I want you to stay.

[Chorus]
You’re turning me on, you turn me around.
You turn my whole world upside down.
You’re turning me on, you turn me around.
You turn my whole world upside down.

[Verse 2]
Every time I hurt you, well it’s hurting me too.
Don’t know if I could really stay here tonight.
Tired of thinking of you, I never think that you do.
Tell me, what am I supposed to do?
Well, I just wanted to say that I need you today.
Tell me it’s all gonna work out alright.
I don’t know where I should I start,
But with all of my heart,
Baby, let me be your lover tonight.

[Hook]
Oh, you know, you turn me upside down.
You know, you turn me upside down.

[Chorus]
You’re turning me on, you turn me around.
You turn my whole world upside down.
You’re turning me on, you turn me around.
You turn my whole world upside down.
