Jadakiss Told Naomi Asaka He Wants A Collaboration With Cordae

Jada Kiss says he wants to collaborate with Cordae.

Could a generation-crossover hip-hop track be in the cards for Cordae and Jadakiss? While there is no solid answer to that question just yet, Jada seized the opportunity to put his wishes out there when he ran into tennis superstar and Cordae’s current girlfriend Naomi Osaka recently. As he exited the building, the seasoned rapper showered Osaka with compliments and asked her to pass on a message for him.

“You’re incredible. I love you,” Jadakiss told Naomi. “Let Cordae know that he gotta get one with Kiss for my bucket list,” he added. The tennis star smiled at the rapper and thanked him for his compliment but made no promises to deliver his request. Of course, by now, the video clip that was shared by DJ Akademiks and has been making the rounds online has a greater chance of being seen by Cordae firsthand, allowing him to respond if he is so inclined.

Cordae is having an incredible run as a young artist in his early career. The former YBN rapper has notably gained recognition from some of the most famous rap veterans still in the game, including Eminem and Lil Wayne. His freshman studio album Lost Boy was released by Atlantic Records and Art@War in 2019 and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

It also spawned his hit song “Bad Idea,” which was nominated for Best Rap Song. Later in 2020, the rapper earned his first No. 1 hit with “Gifted” featuring Roddy Ricch, and the following year he made his TV show debut in The CW network’s TV drama All American.

Though the interaction between Jadakiss and Naomi Osaka was kept short, it was enough to get fans buzzing online about the possible collaboration between the two Grammy-nominated rappers. Cordae has mentioned on a few occasions that he can be instrumental in bridging the generational gap in old and new school hip-hop due to his understanding of both and his musical background. Already Cordae has collaborated with the likes of Nas, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, and more. Could Jadakiss be next on that list?

Lil Baby Recruits Megan Thee Stallion For “On Me (Remix)” But Fans Wanted Omeretta

Lil Baby taps Megan Thee Stallion for a remix of his December 2020 single “On Me.” This, however, is to the displeasure of many fans who were requesting that the remix be done with other female artists, including Lakeyah, Mulatto, Omeretta, or Nicki Minaj. Some fans expressed that while they love the “Body” rapper, they are tired of seeing her on features.

“I’m getting tired of Meg the stallion on features pick someone else. Smh,” one critic wrote meanwhile another added, “I love Meg but she doesn’t need to be on everything. There’s so many other female rappers that would’ve snapped on this.”

The 26-year-old rapper has been featured on several songs, including Cardi B’s “WAP,” Maroon 5’s “Beautiful Mistakes,” “Yo Gotti’s “Pose,” among others.

Lil Baby’s “On Me” was released in December along with another single, “Errbody,” to commemorate his 26th birthday. The music video captures the rapper and his friends on expensive rides, jet-skiing, on a private jet and yacht, and basically living their best life. The latest release features a more colorful and expressive take on the topic.

The director of the video, Mike Ho, has been receiving his fair share of commendations for the contrast in scenery, ice, and fire, both beautiful in their own way. The music video features Lil Baby performing his verse before a beautiful icy fortress with Megan lip-syncing beside him and Megan performing her verse atop a roaring volcano, and at intervals, in a tundra setting.

Despite the negative comments, the song and video have been gaining traction from the public, as the two are still well-loved by their respective fans.

Both Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, and Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, performed at the 63rd Grammy Awards earlier this year. Lil Baby’s unforgettable performance of “The Bigger Picture,” during which he channeled the Black Lives Matter rallies, and Megan’s spicy stripper-themed performance of WAP with Cardi B received a large number of views and comments (still both negative and positive). In addition, that night, Megan won three Grammys for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song for her “Savage” remix with Beyonce. This, therefore, means that, amid the negative comments, Meg is still doing something right.

It appears that some fans wanted Omeretta on the remix but Lil Baby opted to get Thee Stallion who has a resume of creating big hits with other rappers.

Beyonce Shares Grammy Celebratory Clip With Jay-Z & Megan Thee Stallion

Beyoncé is celebrating her record-setting Grammy win with a tribute video on Instagram.

This year’s Grammys was expected to be less eventful than previous installments, but it turned out to be a monumental occasion for some artists. While the show recorded a record low watch audience, it still created a heavy online buzz for the history that was made. Beyoncé became the female artist and singer (both male and female) with the most Grammy awards to her name. In addition, the Carter family celebrated a new Grammy Award winner in the family when Blue Ivy became the second-youngest ever to cop the coveted award for her role in Bey’s “Black Parade.”

After taking a couple days to digest her record-breaking success, Beyoncé took to Instagram TV to highlight the win in a nostalgic reel that showcased her previous Grammy appearances. The singer has now earned 28 Grammy Awards in total. In the video, we got a glimpse of her earning each of the awards over the course of her career spanning two decades. Beyoncé also celebrated her daughter Blue on her first Grammy win. The 9-year-old appeared in the video, holding her own gramophone and sipping from it with a straw.

Beyonce captioned the video she posted on Instagram with a blue heart. “LEGEND,” one fan commented. “You better toot your own horn!!! You been humble for tooooo long,” wrote another. The reminiscent video has garnered more than a million and a half views in the first few hours.

Kodak Black Again Calls Out Megan Thee Stallion, Her BF Pardison Claps Back

Kodak Black is still venting about Megan Thee Stallion jacking his catchphrase “Drive The Boat” and her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine is clapping back.

Texan hottie Megan Thee Stallion walked away from the recent staging of the Grammy Awards with a total of three wins in the categories of Best New Artist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. Ironically, a day following those accomplishments, Floridian rapper Kodak Black is hastily calling dibs on a portion of her success after once again hinting that she stole his slang.

Kodak Black is pretty adamant that the catchphrase “drive the boat” was originated by him, and he should be credited as such. Black’s recent call-out is now the third such social media attack aimed at Megan, starting with the 2020 rant while he was in prison and a more recent one about a week ago. Monday’s string of tweets took on another level of seriousness, as Bill hinted that he would be taking legal action against the “Cry Baby” rapper if he was not credited.

“You Know What , Ima Pull Up On Jit Wit Bout 200 Bands Or Sumn Since I Raned Off Wit Da Man Quote Got Rich Off It & Ain’t Mention Em Nan Time,’” he began. “Who Shoulda Said Dat Twitter? I’m Lit I Ain’t Old & Washed Up Somewhere Hating On Young N**as I’m Jus Over Here Counting This Money But Still Pointing Dat Sh*t Out Y’all B On D**k !!!”

He continued, “Make a whole career off of taking one Lil piece of my sh*t & I B Coming For My Money,” he wrote. Kodak ended his tweetstorm with one which could be considered as equally confusing and disrespectful, as he referred to Megan as a male.

“Or You Know What Ima Just Let Him Drive My Boat & Call It Even.”

Megan Thee Stallion has not responded to Kodak’s accusations, but if her partner’s words are to be taken as a representation of her stance, she may not be addressing the matter publicly. Pardison Fontaine tweeted, “BIG Ws !!!! .. REALLY AINT HEARING ALL THE OTHER SH*T..”

Only time will reveal if Kodak actually takes this one to the courts.
