– Dee Snider has dropped “Time To Choose,” the second track off his upcoming fifth album, Leave A Scar, which will be released in July through Napalm Records.

Produced by Jamey Jasta with co-production, mixing and mastering by drummer Nick Bellmore, Leave A Scar puts Snider front and center, with big support from the vocal performance of Cannibal Corpse’s George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher.

Snider, whose classic songs like “Burn In Hell,” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It” deal with themes of right and wrong, says he tackled a familiar subject once again with the track “Time To Choose.”

“‘Time To Choose’ deals with a subject I’ve addressed often over the course of my writing career: Good vs. Evil,” he said. “Given the heaviness of this track, I felt adding George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher’s voice to this would drive home the seriousness of the choices we make. I was honored when he agreed to contribute his incredibly powerful voice.”

Snider is accompanied on the record by Charlie Bellmore on guitar and background vocals, Nick Bellmore on drums, Russell Pzütto on bass and background vocals and Nick Petrino on guitar and background vocals.

The first track released off Leave A Scar is “I Gotta Rock (Again),” which got the attention of music-starved fans longing for new work from the Master of Metal. Pre-order the new album, Leave A Scar here.

“By the end of 2020, I knew I not only had to get back into the studio, but for the first time since the ’90s, I wanted – no, needed – to be a part of the writing process,” Snider said. “I reached out to my producer Jamey Jasta and told him I was ready to make another record. Leave A Scar is filled with messages to, and for, the silent voices in the world who need someone to speak out on their behalf. This is my purpose.”
